Solitary/Release is an intimate documentary-fiction hybrid film exploring the life of a recovering drug addict on the verge of great change. In SOLITARY, we meet Zach, director Holden Abigail Osborne’s younger brother, as he finds his way back into the world and his daughters’ lives after being released from jail. Then, in RELEASE, we are transported to a fictional world where a father (Holmes Osborne) has taken his drug-addicted son (James Franco) deep into the woods to face his addiction head on.
